Mohair Grey & White thin stripes

Mohair Grey & White thin stripes
For our 100% MOHAIR rugs, we use only hand-spun wool from Angora goats, left undyed to preserve its natural beauty. This luxurious fiber comes in five rich natural colors: white, grey, camel, brown, and black.
For your custom-made striped rug, you can choose any combination of these colors.
Our rugs are crafted using an ancient technique to create a faux animal hair pile, a method widely used among nomads in Central Asia. After the mohair is washed and spun, the weaving process begins. Once completed, the flat weave is carefully brushed and washed with a special brush.
Due to their lightness, strength, and ease of folding, flat-weave rugs were among the most cherished possessions of ancient tent civilizations.
These mohair weaves were primarily used as blankets for sleeping.
Today, their use goes beyond blankets—they can serve as wall hangings, pillows, lap rugs, throws, bedspreads, scatter rugs, or large area rugs.
We recommend using a cushioned, non-slip rug pad to prevent slipping and provide extra cushioning.

Care & Tips:
Shake out dust and vacuum gently—avoid using a rotating vacuum brush.

Gently squeeze out excess water, reshape the rug carefully, and hang to dry away from direct heat.
To maintain the distinctive combed design on the surface, professional dry cleaning is suggested.
Produced with respect for the environment and people, with no child labor involved.
